Terra Cotta Polish.—Is made by adding a few drops of cherry stain to one part of Light Oil Finish and two parts of turpentine. Creosote Stain for Birds' Nests.—The creosote stain used for coloring shingles is an admirable finish for birds' nests. It acts as a preservative and is sanitary and clean, as well as beautiful to the eye. Any of the dull greens, yellows, browns or grays are appropriate for the purpose. |
